The motorsports-and-music festival GridLife held its final event of 2026 at WeatherTech Laguna Raceway in September, and safe to say it went out with a bang.
Every aspect of the weekend was about putting on an incredible show. Whether it was on-track competition or off-track fun, fans weren't disappointed.
Here are five incredible moments if you missed the action.

Hert Gifted an RTR Mustang
Arguably the biggest moment of the weekend was T-Pain surprising his business partner Hert with an RTR Mustang drift car lovingly named "Twerk Horse." The pair co-founded Nappy Boy Automotive together, and sadly Hert crashed his beloved "Twerkstallion" RX-7 a few weeks earlier. That made the gift even sweeter, and they quickly sent it sideways.

Dillon Francis comes to Party
GridLife hosts live DJ sets around the track all day, and at night the party crews show up. Saturday night's main event featured Dany Neville, Kaivon and Dillon Francis pumping bass into the air. After such intense action on the course, it was unifying to see competitors and fans come together and let loose.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. the Birthday Boy
If one person had a jam-packed Gridlife, it was Vaughn Gittin Jr. He debuted the Twerk House above, sent fans into a frenzy with his Formula Drift car, and competed in Time Attack with his Mustang GTD. On top of that, it was his birthday! Vaughn is our newest author and we also had copies of his book Ready To Rock on hand for sneak previews.

Time Attack Shootout: Porsche vs... Camaro?
One of the most fun battles was watching the matching Porsches of BBI Autosport try to dethrone the Camaro SS of Mike DuSold. They weren't successful, despite legendary driver Tanner Foust pushing the 911 hard. DuSold is a beast on track and in person his 1,300-HP Camaro is even more astounding.
Drift Extravaganza on the Corkscrew
Drifting always steals the show, and GridLife Laguna took that to another level. Not only were RTR and Nappy Boy ripping it up, the field also included pro drifters Chris Forsberg, Matt Field, Dai Yoshihara and Forrest Wang among others. It resulted in one of the most insane clips I've ever seen down the Corkscrew. Watch it here.
